Historic First Time ‘All About Grapes’ Cookbook Preparing Volume 2

'All About Grapes' is the historic first and only all-exclusive grape cookbook with 130 recipes. Released late last year, it is available this holiday season to make way for a larger, second volume. Unique, one of kind, limited quantities remain.

Oct. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- Westfield, NY – The original and only 130-recipe cookbook featuring all grape recipes is available for the holiday season and may disappear shortly afterward.

Hailing from the second largest grape-producing region in the United States and the largest Concord grape-producing region in the world, this one-of-a-kind cookbook offers recipes, grape trivia and history, and grape facts.  When it was introduced late last year, people everywhere – collectors, cooks, historians, and grape lovers – made this cookbook a hit!  With it came more ideas and recipes that others wanted to share that didn’t make the first run.

Randy DeVaul, the creator of ‘All About Grapes’ and owner of the Brick House Bed & Breakfast in Westfield, NY, is not doing a second printing of the original cookbook.  This could well be the last holiday season for this first-ever cookbook,” says DeVaul, as the popularity of the book remains strong.  “Don’t pass up the chance to secure the very first totally exclusive grape cookbook.  And because there are no other cookbooks like this in existence,” states DeVaul, “this will be as unique a gift that you can give.”

DeVaul is preparing a second, larger grape cookbook, adding more recipes and more facts and trivia.  “People began sharing recipes that they have had in their family for years or have just been grape favorites.  As we prepare the second, larger volume, we’d love to have you share your grape-related recipes with us.  For every recipe you send, we’ll include a ‘contributed by’ line in the cookbook, so you can be part of this next historic release.”

Locally, book stores and other retail merchants have been selling the cookbook since it became available last August.  Now, with limited remaining copies, they are stocking up for the holidays.  Signed author copies are in stock and available at the Book Nook, in Dunkirk, and other retailers with inventory include Tuscany Meats, in Fredonia, Sapores Restaurant, Johnson Estate Winery, the Sugar Shack, Parkview Ice Cream Parlor and Gift Shop, and Crossroads Market, all in Westfield.  Additional retailers are being added but copies are becoming limited.

Be part of the grape heritage and history.  Get a copy of the cookbook and send your time-honored and tested grape recipes that didn’t make it in the first book.

‘All About Grapes’ can be purchased at the retailers listed above or directly from DeVaul at the Brick House Bed & Breakfast in Westfield.  Recipes can be sent by email to brickhousebnb@roadrunner.com or by mail to Brick House, 7573 East Route 20, Westfield, NY 14787.
