Millions of people log onto You Tube daily. For one Chicago area man, it is more than just a way to watch videos. "Brian's Art for Animals" is one of the most watched original animal channels on You Tube with over a combined 14 million views to his over 50 videos ranging from hosted pieces on predators, parodies of Animal Planet/Discover programs, and simple videos of wildlife just being themselves in their natural habitats.
Brian started to earn money from the Google Ad programs and donates it to various global animal organizations like the Snow Leopard Trust, African Wildlife Foundation and rescue centers here in the US.
"I just want to give back to all that animals have done for my life, to give it some meaning." Brian stated.
He has worked for over 10 years as an large exotic animal caretaker at several accredited sanctuaries and zoos, and even had a few of his pieces aired on CNN. Brian also takes photos and sells them as another means to be able to travel on safaris and also donate money. Brian started using free social sites like myspace and facebook to further his promoting wildlife conservation when both sites were new.
"It was an easy way to get a lot of interest in some organizations that are on the front lines of protecting not only animals, and building up local communities, but keeping our planet healthy."
