It has been almost a year since Sen. Barack Obama won the US presidential election. Since then Obama’s character and his victory have been a great and immediate source of inspiration to many people around the world. One of them is, a virtually unknown young Canadian who considered Obama’s victory as a call for action to contribute to our respective communities, societies and beyond, and has recently self-published his first book.
In The Impossible Flight, he shares his experience of going from nothing to becoming an emerging authority in his field.
The purpose of the book is to inspire students and young people, to promote learning, self-development and to help reduce school dropout rates in North America and other parts of the world.
Over 200 copies have been distributed since the release of the book on September 14, 2009; with very positive comments from the first reviewers and readers. Some of the testimonials are posted on the dedicated website: www.theimpossibleflight.com.
The author is counting on the collaboration with interested corporations, associations and nonprofit organizations to make the book available to schools and libraries across the United States, Canada and worldwide.
