Davidson Realty to Host Free Webinar Series on Hot Topics in Real Estate

Oct. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- ST. AUGUSTINE -- Davidson Realty, a Northeast Florida commercial and residential real estate firm, is offering a series of free, educational Webinars to home buyers, investors, real estate industry professionals and others interested in learning more about real estate. As millions of American families are currently enduring the difficult prospect of foreclosure, the first series kicks off in November with three Webinars about the different opportunities available to families and individuals facing foreclosure.

The first series is designed to help homeowners who are in distressed situations understand their options with the foreclosure process. The following topics will be presented with this first series:  
   Nov. 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. EST - "Why you should avoid foreclosure"
   Nov. 12, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. EST - "How to avoid foreclosure"
   Nov. 19, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. EST - "More information on the short sale option"
The Web-based seminars will last 20 to 40 minutes followed by a question and answer session, for a one hour-long presentation.

Each Webinar will be hosted by Davidson Realty president Sherry Davidson and a guest speaker and Realtor® from the Davidson Realty team.

Davidson has been active in real estate in Northeast Florida for over twenty years and has concentrated on foreclosure assistance and loss mitigation. She holds the Certified Distressed Property Expert® (CDPE) designation, from her specialized training in short sales and foreclosure prevention, and the Loss Mitigation Certification, from specialized training on the complicated transactions involving foreclosures, short sales and auction or bank-owned properties.

Mirtha Barzaga will serve as the guest speaker on November 5. Barzaga will recount a recent situation in which she was able to sell a home in a short sale before it went into foreclosure for a military couple, which saved the couple's security clearance and allowed them to continue in their military careers. Suzy Evans, who has 17 years of real estate experience and 12 years of mortgage financing experience, will be the guest speaker on November 12, discussing foreclosure avoidance options. Dottie Lay, who has 25 years of real estate experience and is one of Davidson's top agents in terms of sales, will partner with Cindy Vaughn, who has 11 years of real estate experience, on November 19, to discuss short sales. Barzaga, Evans, Lay and Vaughn all also hold the CDPE® designation, which has provided comprehensive training and experience to understand the complex issues of and solutions for homeowners facing foreclosures.
