Hue-Man Bookstore Hosts Award Winning Children’s Book Authors David & Mutiya Vision for Reading and Book Signing October 31, 2009
NEW YORK – October 30, 2009 – Hue-Man Bookstore invites families and educators to play a role in helping children understand the importance of being responsible members of society who value others. On October 31, 2009 from 2:00-4:00pm Hue-Man bookstore will host award winning children’s book authors David and Mutiya Vision as they read from their latest book The Land of Expression.
This November 2009 release creatively tackles the tough issue of how bullying can have grave consequences for both the victim and the aggressor. It touches on how a community can lose out on precious resources when they let misconceptions prevent them from engaging others who may not think, look, or act exactly like them. The aspiration of The Land of Expression is that it will encourage children to relate to one another with an added degree of mutual respect and compassion.
The author reading will be followed by a discussion and book signing. This event is a great way to impart valuable lessons while promoting an excitement for literacy in children.
