PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 30, 2009 – Any hard core gamers knows that many of the best games - or at least the most unique games, comes right from Japan.  At least that was the case with the Gamecube and now also with the Nintendo Wii.  And often times, when I talk about import games, people ask me why I'd need to play games that are all in Eastern and can't be played anyway.com or GameSpot.  This brings us back to the Freeloader.  The Freeloader was developed by Datel as a way to cut out the need for installing a mod chip in your Gamecube console to get access, and the facility to play these games.  I would like to also say that this isn't an article to push the Freeloader as the next neatest thing since sliced The Legend Of Zelda for the Gamecube or Nintendo Wii.  If you're not into japanese games, or import games generally, and have no interest in them, then the Freeloader is not for you.  It doesn't offer any extras or advantages for any Nintendo Wii or Gamecube owner who is pleased to just play the offering of games available in their own country.  

Having made its debut in November 2006, the Wii has enjoyed great success ever since then.  This is mostly due to its benefits in the area of active play phenomenon.  The Wii is most generally known for providing players with active play experience.  From my research I realized that there are some 15 or 20 homebrew / development and flash kits available for the Nintendo DS and the Gameboy Advance. They play movies, mp3 music, let you check out your latest digital pictures in the JPEG picture format that most digital cameras use.  You can easily find SD and microSD cards at any electronics store like Radio Shack, BestBuy and even on eBay if you would like a bargain and can wait one or two days to get the item in the mail.  While this may be a good thing, it does hold you back when you're on the lookout for additional storage for films, games, or applications.  The hottest and best selling game is Wii Sports Resort it is a Sport simulations game featuring five different sports such as tennis, golf, bowling, boxing and baseball.  

To Play you use the Wii remote in an analogous way you would if you played these sports in real life.  Swinging or putting with a club for instance.  This console was originally meant to be named Revolution, but was modified to Wii as it sounds like "we" and the two ii in Wii are supposed to represent two people standing next to each other playing the game.  No need to abbreviate.  So we wanted something that was short, to the point, simple to claim, and particular.  Nintendo Wii has by far lived up to the expectations of the general public. A Nintendo Wii supports four controllers at a time.  Some critical accessories that you could find terribly fascinating are The Wii Zapper- This item connects the nunchuk to the Wii remote to the nunchuk.  You may also buy a wheel that comes with built in controls.  These accessories take the gaming comfort to a different level. This means that Wii games have been encrypted so that only Nintendo and Wii consoles can read them.  The Nintendo Wii has indeed exceeded expectancies of video gamers, not least those that were basically picking on it, mocking urination with the sound of its name when it first came onto the scene.  The evergreen discontentment is that its pricing remains prohibitive.  So in addition to eating dinner together every evening, we also put aside two nights a week where we stayed in to observe films or play board games.  It's not surprising that board games appear extraordinarily low-tech and boring in comparison.  I made a decision that maybe I should bend a little and embrace this technology rather than trying to fight against it, so last Tuesday we had our first Nintendo Wii Sports tournament at the house.
