The National Best Books Award sponsored by USA Book Reviews has given Wingate yet another honor for her novel “Bobby’s Diner.”
On the heels of receiving an offer to write a 3-book series for “Bobby’s Diner,” Wingate’s writing career seems to be on fire.
“I was just leaving my house to pick up my friend Cricket from the airport and heard my email ping.” Wingate explains. “When I checked, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Another award for “Bobby’s Diner.”
Wingate received her first finalist award earlier this April. She had never expected the women’s lit/Chick lit categorized novel “to do anything.” Wingate said.
“I’m just so happy and excited. It’s fun to get such an overwhelming acceptance. I’m writing all the time. A lot of it isn’t as light as “Bobby’s Diner” but I can only hope the writing is as appealing.”
Wingate is currently gearing up for the November National Write a Book in a Month Competition (or NaNoWriMo, for short) when she will be teaching her workshop, “Muscling-

Wingate is gearing up to release another onslaught of evocative writing. She promises that 2010 will prove to be her stellar year.
