Oct. 29, 2009 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA - Presenters, performers and special celebrity guests supporting the 11th Annual "A Home for the Holidays" (currently scheduled to be broadcast on CBS on Dec. 23, 2009) will be treated to a fabulous assortment of thank-you gifts from Cincinnati-based pet product manufacturer Petprojekt™ (a division of Otomik Products, Inc.).   Last year, celebs who came out to support the event included Faith Hill, Kristin Chenoweth, Rene Russo, Jamie Foxx, Gavin Rossdale, Martin Short, Steven Spielberg, Melissa Etheridge, Patricia Heaton and Tim McGraw.

"A Home for the Holidays" is an annual holiday special that looks at the joys, rewards and success stories of adoption, one of the nation's most pressing and underreported social crises.  In fact, there are more than 500,000 children currently in foster care in the United States, and this program aims to raise awareness about this important social issue through inspirational stories about adoption.  The special is presented in association with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children's Action Network (CAN). CAN was founded in 1990 by leaders in the entertainment industry, including Henry Winkler and Steven Spielberg, to harness the power of the media on behalf of children. The special is part of CAN's National Adoption Campaign to raise awareness of the joys of adopting and to find homes for the children who are waiting.

Petprojekt will join a bevy of other gift providers assembled by swagmasters Distinctive Assets at Ren-Mar Studios on Friday, November 20, 2009, in an exclusive backstage Gift Lounge where celebrities will be introduced to an exciting array of Petprojekt's best and brightest products.  Stars will be able to choose the "Home for the Howl-a-Days Gift Basket" that best suits their favorite furry friend.

Petprojekt (a division of Otomik Products, Inc.) was established in late 2008 when the owner, Jason Vap, rescued a Doberman puppy named Kava. With over 15 years of experience in children's toy and consumer product design, development and manufacturing, Jason noticed that the pet industry lacked some of the same creativity and safety standards as the toy industry.  Jason's company has developed many product lines since its conception, including toys, dog bowls and leashes that incorporate a sense of innovation, style, design, humor and taste.

The Petprojekt line of merchandise is made from high-quality 100% non-toxic materials that are dog tested and approved.  That means they are 100% lead free, 100% cadmium free, DEHP free and 100% non phthalate PVC.  Safety, quality and value are the key ingredients in the Petprojekt pledge.  That means providing for your pooch has never been so accessible or affordable.  Their motto is "If our pet products aren't good enough for our own pets, there's no way they're good enough for yours!"

From scented dog collar charms and meat-styled squeaky toys to spill proof mats and bowls, Petprojekt has already reached the homes of the dog-loving elite such as Oprah Winfrey, Tori Spelling, Jai Rodriguez, Paris Hilton, Rachael Ray, Justin Timberlake, Kathy Griffin and Denise Richards.  Distinctive Assets' founder Lash Fary commented, "The Holidays are such a wonderful time to remember those who bring joy and happiness to our lives.  For many of my Hollywood friends, that certainly extends to their canine companions.  We're excited to be able to introduce even more of our star-studded clientele to these fabulous pet products from Petprojekt."
