UDC Children's Book Fair

PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 29, 2009 – UDC Student National Education Association to Host Children's Book Fair

(Washington, D.C.) - Dr. Virginia Howard and the UDC SNEA will host their Annual Children's Book Fair on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at the UDC Auditorium, Building 46 -West. The Book Fair will be held between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

This year's event will feature many new children's authors as well as many of children's favorites from the past. The little ones will love the Face Painting, Storytelling, Doll Making, Nail Painting, Stenciling, Balloon Animals, and Educational Games among other things.

The Children's Book Fair is where "reading makes the whole brain tingle."  It's Free and Everyone is Welcome.

Additionally, there will be eight local authors who will introduce their books. Also, workshops on Art, Music and Math will be held.
