Available from the US retailer, Alon, based in New York, the Cyg-Cam launched by Paton’s Taxiworld’s subsidiary company Cygnus, can be fitted to any public or private hire vehicle and comes complete with a choice of one or two cameras, infra-red vision and a choice of either colour or monochrome.
Audio sound can also be recorded from driver’s camera and the total card capacity is over five hours making it useful for those longer shifts, and what’s more, it is in the same price range as their current market leading products, but it makes use of a higher picture quality, sound quality and a better panic button facility.
