With the month of October winding down, many concur it was a successful month for breast care awareness. The participation of Stratos Jet Charters in the event is a great example at how well received the idea was.
Knowing that October is national breast cancer awareness month, Stratos Jet Charters started the month with a great fundraiser idea. For every flight during the month, the service donates $50 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It also matches client donations up to $250 for the remainder of the month.
The original goal of the fundraiser was to raise $5,000 to go towards the advancement of research and operation of the non-profit group. With several days left in October, Stratos Jet Charters hopes to make the goal on time.
