Rickey’s Features Red Hot Bistro And Cool Blue Jazz

PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 28, 2009 – The Red Hot Bistro and Cool Blue Jazz Club are the focus at Rickey’s as we head into the pre-holiday season. The fireside concert series boasts a chillin’ line-up of free performances and sizzling bar menu every Friday and Saturday night from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m., the marquee for November 2009 is as follows:

To complement the live music, Rickey’s is also offering a fresh Bistro menu, which features everything from shrimp cocktail and fried calamari to marinated beef/chicken skewers, sandwiches and snacks.  (Full menu available via email).  In addition to a full bar of call drinks, Rickey’s also serves a wide selection of wines by the glass and specialty cocktails.

Brad Bann - Brad Bann has been performing "The Songs of Sinatra"  in many different venues, which include Princess Cruises, Pizzaz on the Park in London, The Silver Legacy in Reno and various clubs in Palm Desert.  He has been well received by audiences who have compared his powerful smooth voice to that of Sinatra. He brings back to life the sound of America's great crooners and the golden big band era.

GoKatGo/ www.myspace.com/gokatgoband - Katy Leaver of KGO Radio is lead vocalist for popular jazz-rock trio, Go Kat Go! This local band plays music that gets people up and dancing with a huge list of songs that relax people during dinner, and fire them up after dessert. Guitar virtuoso, Mike Williamson and percussionist-vocalist Richard McKinley add exotic musical stylings.

Jon Popenoe Blues Band/www.myspace.com/jonpopenoebluesband - Jon Popenoe is a renegade guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, bandleader, music teacher and erstwhile promoter, producer and recording artist.  While his playing style is rooted in blues and jazz, he has been influenced by music from many genres.

But even beyond that, SwingSet also entertains audiences with Folk, Pop and Rock, from the 50s to present.
