Oct. 28, 2009 - PRLog -- Dinosaur bone and meteorite accessorize Blindworm Guitars’ newest electric guitar, the Nucleus #003.

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Blindworm Guitars’ newest electric guitar, the Nucleus #003, has dinosaur bone humbucker covers and a meteorite nut, both painstakingly hand carved from the raw material. The fingerboard is adorned by a hand-created inlay of a planet-bearing tree, accentuating the Nucleus theme of the interconnectedness of the known world. The tree is made of jade and semi-precious stones.  The Nucleus #003 incorporates materials from past life, present Earth, and even outer space!  The Nucleus’ unique body shaping is well balanced, and extremely comfortable.  This guitar has incredibly low action, and produces an abundance of unbelievable tone.  The sleek, innovative design of the Nucleus, coupled with the brilliant theme and artwork make it a must see!  The Nucleus, as well as other Blindworm Guitars’ work, is available at http://www.blindwormguitars.com.

Planet Bearing Tree Inlay

The tree inlay of Boxelder Maple bark and Jade foliage stands atop a Turquoise Earth with continents made of dinosaur bone and diamond dust. The tree grows planets of purple shell, red Tiger's Eye, purple Beetlekill Ponderosa, Picture Jasper, and blue Tiger's Eye. As the tree's planets mature, they fall to the sky, towards the Camphor burl sun.

The various materials were carefully chosen, and you can hear the special tonal characteristics that each inlaid stone adds as it is individually played and resonated through.

Combined with the amazing sound qualities of the Osage Orange fretboard and meteorite nut, this guitar constructs a soundscape unlike any other.
