Marigold Consulting is offering a workshop entitled “Before You Hit Send – Email Etiquette in the Workplace” on Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. The workshop is the first installment of Etiquette and Omelettes, Marigold’s eight-part series focusing on office etiquette topics.
By participating in interactive exercises, session attendees will learn how to construct highly effective and professional emails, eliminate emotionalism from their emails, and avoid the seven deadly sins of email. The session will also include practical information on establishing an office email policy and sidestepping legal and ethical pitfalls in email communication. To complement the material presented during the workshop, each attendee will receive a comprehensive workbook full of helpful tips, examples, and solutions to common email quandaries.
Registration for the workshop is open through Monday, November 30. The registration fee is $75 and includes a buffet-style breakfast of hot and cold menu items, all workshop materials, and a certificate of training completion.
