Michelle Obama confesses she too used to feed her family fast-food while juggling the work/ life balance, but wants other parents to do better by developing good eating habits which includes fresh fruits and vegetables.
J Rembrandt, author of 5 Life Skills Smart Moms Must Have: Proven Strategies to Keep You Sane! says that she too use to feed her family fast food more often than she cares to admit until Supersize Me! She says it inspired her to develop some easy to implement strategies to make eating healthy a priority.
By putting aside 1 hour a week to prepare 3 large healthy meals and ordering your groceries online, you save a lot of time and money. If you think about it takes time to drive to the fast food place, then it takes some more time to order and pick up your food. This takes about 30 minutes or more that is time you could have spent in the comfort of your home eating healthy food. As a family, it took us about 30 days to convert to this new system.
Now my son is even asks for the healthy food, fruits and vegetables at snack time.
