Pet Rescue by Judy will hold the grand opening of their adoption center in the Oviedo Marketplace Mall on November 7, 2009 from 12p - 5p. The adoption center comes at a time when malls are struggling to attract customers, and Pet Rescue by Judy is struggling to find enough adopters for their growing number of pets due to the economic downturn. The partnership between Pet Rescue by Judy and Oviedo Marketplace Mall is a win-win for both organizations.
The mall benefits by having a replacement to the mall pet stores of the past and Pet Rescue by Judy benefits by exposing new potential adopters and fosters to the organization. The Pet Rescue by Judy adoption center will be open every Saturday and Sunday between November 7 and Christmas.
The 3,000-square-
foot facility will be staffed by volunteers.

http://www.petrescuebyjudy.com) is a private, no-kill, non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue cats and dogs. Many of them come to the organization with medical needs. They are provided basic medical treatment. The most urgent goal is to rescue animals that are abandoned or in distress, update their vaccines, and find good new homes for them. Pet Rescue By Judy takes a three-prong approach in fulfilling its mission through the education of pet owners and the general public about:
• Proper care of animals, including correct diet of good quality food, fresh clean water, daily exercise, and lots of love
• Spaying and neutering companion animals (dogs and cats) in order to prevent euthanasia and over-population
• Low-cost spay/neuter clinics and wellness centers in their local community
