Digital graphics provider Point imaging (Hobart, IN) has just been named a Best in Category winner in the inaugural web2awards by the Print Industries of America.

Point Imaging's website, www.pointimaging.com, earned the second highest overall score behind Mimeo, which took Best in Show honors. "When I heard how well our site did, I was floored. I'm glad the judges saw and felt the personal touch that we incorporated into the site, " explains Perez. "Our philosophy is that other companies can do what we do, but the only place you'll get this group of dedicated, experienced and personable team members is at Point Imaging. Our website brings those people to life. We are a very capable and likable group." The design and functionality of the site was a collaboration between Point Imaging's marketing department and Golden Technologies of Valparaiso, IN.
One feature of the website that drew much attention was the "What's Fresh" blog page, currently the most visited page on pointimaging.com. "The "What's Fresh" page is our opportunity to talk about anything and everything related to our industry, our lives, our clients, and our spirit. It quickly becomes clear that this is not your typical world-class company," says Perez. "The What's Fresh page as taken on a life of it's own. Visitors have asked us to alert them when something new hits the page, so we are adding an opt-in feature this week."
Point Imaging was founded in 1990 by Kevin and Renee Huseman. They provide digital graphics, design, custom production and distribution to some of the world's biggest brands in the retail, event marketing, sporting, mobile fleet and outdoor industries.
