Ch Supt Russ Jackson, leading the operation, said, "These arrests are down to the hard work and determination of police officers, staff and partner organisation across the county.
"The message to criminals that continue to offend is very simple - we will be coming for you, very soon, and you will be spending Christmas and New Year behind bars.
"The public can be asured that we will be keeping the pressure on over the coming weeks to ensure we continue to drive down this horrible crime that can leave victims frightened to be in their own homes, somewhere they should feel totally safe."
