Austin, TX, USA. – Eighteen (18) months after the Corporate Intranet Portal implementation, Itransition is excited to announce that all the ambitious project goals have been reached and the company, even more geographically dispersed than 1.5 years ago, is also more united and unified in terms of information sharing and collaboration than ever before. Based on Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 server, the solution is tightly integrated into the company’s infrastructure, including Microsoft Project Server, a MS Dynamics CRM, a help desk, an issue tracking system, and a data warehouse solution allowing for real-time project collaboration across company’s sales offices and production facilities.

Over 11 years operating in the global marketplace, the company accumulated too much unstructured information, which required significant management cost and manual processes, quite often error-prone.  It became one of the reasons for the implementation. Another reason was that Itransition periodically suffered from information loss, when most of the files were transmitted between sales and development offices in North America (US) and all across Europe (UK, Netherlands, Estonia, Russia and Belarus) via email.
