FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Nov 03, 2009 – Terrys Fabrics, the leading Stoke/Stokeport-based online seller of soft home furnishings, has experienced brisk sales pretty early into the festive season. Its customers are active online and placing orders well before the season kicks off in order to be really prepared for Christmas much before time, and rounds off yet another rocking year for the company with sales peaking by more than 15%, aided by a strong online vertical business model.
Paul McGuiness of the company confesses that he is absolutely delighted at the way things have panned out for them. Though the autumn season has been usually very good over the years for the company, this year the expectation was rather muted owing to the credit crunch. To see people flocking into the stores and buying online has been a very healthy surprise for them.
The opinion is that customers want to be more responsible in their spending this time around, and are focusing more on accessories rather than very costly items for their homes.
This has led to improved sales of drapes, curtain poles, table lamps and bedding items with these products recording healthy growth in sales volume.
In fact our best selling items include:
-   Curtain poles  (http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/cat/curtain-poles)
-   Table lamps  (http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/cat/lighting/table-lamps/)
-   Bedding (http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/cat/bedding/)

The company also feels that the need to reduce energy and power bills is also leading customers to purchase more of the better quality insulating curtains. These conserve the warmth within the room and leads to less usage of the room's heater.
