ARIA WALLACE – 12 year old teen is the star of Nickelodeon’s Roxy Hunter movie series and plays Mandy on iCarly.   She has also starred on The Bernie Mac Show, That 70’s Show, Desperate Housewives, to name a  few.

Aria Wallace is challenging herself to ‘unplug for 40 days,’ to encourage teens to live life in real time.  Today’s teens are obsessed with technology; cell phones, texting, social networking, etc.  They are losing vital social skills and cannot communicate face to face.  Aria wants to prove to herself and the world that teens can live without technology.  From October 12 through November 20, her daily experiences will be documented with blogs/vlogs/video diaries at http://blog.ariawallace.com  

The 40 Day Challenge consists of the following rules:
1)   No cell phone use or texting
2)   Home phone use for 10 minutes per day
3)   Payphones are allowed
4)   No social networking
5)   Internet use is limited to daily blog/vlog and schoolwork as necessary
