Twisted Technologies, a Microsoft Gold Partner and Medisoft Platinum VAR have written their TTScanner application, which improves workflow for scanning ID and insurance cards for Medisoft for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2. TTScanner will help doctors and chiropractors adhere to Red Flag Rule come Nov. 1 by time and date stamping all scanned images into Medisoft's database thus protecting them from FTC fines. This is the second application Twisted Technologies, an Atlanta area company celebrating its 10th year in business had certified for Microsoft's FrontRunner award. CPAdocs won for SQL2005 and now TTScanner for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2.
With the healthcare stimulus (HITECH) gaining ground, TTScanner proves to be a required product for all Medisoft practices using Medisoft Clinical as they now need a place to store these necessary copies. With the advent of Red Flag Rule, practices are now forced to adhere to federal regulations and TTScanner does just this.
