FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Oct 28, 2009 – In 1962, Randy is a young man about to graduate from high school and join the Marines.

Before Randy is to deploy, he has an unsettling nightmare about his girlfriend, Natalie.  Living in southern California, the two are avid surfers, always together, riding the big waves, going on surfing safaris, having a memorable prom night and even skinny dipping in a deserted cove.  They are passionately in love, which makes the nightmare for Randy very troubling.  How can he leave with this feeling of foreboding?

Randy is sent to Vietnam and the couple’s love stays strong.  But can true love, born in times of innocence, survive the uncertainty of war?

This coming-of-age story is filled with memorable characters that experience a giant step to adulthood and maturity.  Its story will bring back bittersweet memories to those who experienced that unforgettable era and, for those who didn't, reveal a generation who were the impetus for social and political change.
