Yukon Seat Grip Signs Contract With Centoco To Distribute Product In Canada, U.S.A. & Mexico

Oct. 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Royal Oak, Michigan-based Yukon Seat Grip announced it has signed a contract with Centoco, the second largest toilet seat manufacturer and distributor to building trades, contractors, architects and the retail trade for residential, commercial and institutional application. The contract awards Centoco the license to distribute Yukon Seat Grips in select outlets throughout Canada, U.S.A. and Mexico.

The Yukon Seat Grip is a new pressure-sensitive, adhesive toilet seat washer to prevent toilet seat and hinge damage and possible personal injury. David A. Dowling, owner of Yukon Building & Land Development, a Royal Oak, Michigan-based builder and developer, invented it.

The Yukon Seat Grip washer is made of a compressible material with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that sticks to the toilet bowl basin and keeps the nut in its place. The homeowner wets the adhesive to de-activate the adhesive, slips the bolt through the Yukon Seat Grip washer and threads the nut back onto the bolt. The adhesive on the surface of the washer holds the nut in position, thereby maintaining a permanent tightness and security of the toilet seat unit. The installation process can take less than five minutes. The washer can be easily removed by loosening the bolt.

The product is made in Michigan using local suppliers and manufacturers. Cassell and Associates of Novi, which provides meaningful vocational opportunities for clients with traumatic personal injuries, partially assembles the product.
