Dr. Marta Monzon Lahuerta, a veterinarian in Madrid, Spain, carefully researched, negotiated and purchased an American Paint Horse filly from Alice Harvell and Jerry Norris, owners of A&J Paint Horses, in Baker, Florida, US. A&J Paint Horses is a licensed, registered business in the State of Florida since 1999. This will be the first APHA registered horse for Dr. Monzon and will be one of the few American Paint horses currenly residing in Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Monzon carefully researched the American bred Paint Horse. She then proceeded to contact several US Paint Horse breeders for more information. After several contacts, she decided on the APHA filly, Senorita Hitter in Florida. This exceptional 3 year old filly is out of the international breeding and Reserve World Champion stallion, Natural Hitter. Natural Hitter is a 16 hand, 1400 pound American Paint Horse stallion. He is a 1999 Reserve World Champion stallion as well as a international breeding stallion of frozen semen with breedings sold as far away as New Zealand. American Paint Horse and American Quarter Horse breeders in New Zealand are using frozen semen out of this outstanding and versatile stallion. Dr. Marta Monzon and Alice Harvell collaborated with Lazcar, International out of Miami, Florida for all shipping arrangements for Senorita Hitter from the United States to Madrid, Spain.
Senorita Hitter has now arrived in Madrid and is comfortably making a home with her new and proud owner, Dr. Marta Monzon Lahuerta.
