Free Yoga Classes for Veterans at Lexington Healing Arts Academy

PR Log (Press Release) – Oct 27, 2009 – Lexington Healing Arts Academy (LHAA) honors our veterans by offering them FREE Yoga classes on Veteran’s Day, November 11.  The Essential Yoga class is a great Yoga experience for all levels of practice, from beginners to those more advanced.  This class promotes personal exploration of Yoga philosophy, asana (poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, restoratives poses and relaxation.  The FREE classes are Wednesday, November 11 at 12:00-1:15 PM and 5:30-6:45 PM.  

Yoga adds to the quality of life by improving flexibility and strength, enhancing memory and attention spans, and increasing energy, self-acceptance and self-actualization to name just a few physiological and psychological benefits.  It can also ease pain, improve circulation, lower resting heart rate, and increase endurance.

LHAA opened its Yoga Center in 2008.  In addition to a full schedule of classes, LHAA offers a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program.  Lexington Healing Arts Academy is located at 272 Southland Drive, Lexington, KY.
