Boulder, CO –– Outlast Technologies, the leader in temperature regulating technology, congratulates Guy Eckert, executive vice president of business development, on 10 years of outstanding success at Outlast. Eckert joined the Outlast team in 1999 and is credited with identifying and developing the products that allowed Outlast to pioneer the specialty sleep market globally.
When it comes to temperature regulating technology in the textile market, Eckert is an expert. The introduction of Outlast® technology into the home and bedding markets was Eckert’s innovation. Under his leadership, Outlast’s bedding business has been positioned as the leader in temperature regulating technology. Additionally, he developed a tier-based comfort rating system to promote the benefits of using the entire Outlast® Sleep System and the “more is better” approach to marketing Outlast. “This company continues to amaze and challenge me like none other,” says Eckert. “To be surrounded by such a talented team is a real privilege and I look forward to helping Outlast achieve its goals in the coming years.”
Eckert grew the Outlast bedding segment by building long-term relationships with industry leaders such as Select Comfort, Carpenter, and Sealy—partners who understand and value Outlast® technology and its temperature regulating benefits. Greg Roda, president and CEO of Outlast Technologies says, “Guy saw the potential for Outlast® technology in bedding products and helped the company gain the success within the marketplace that is seen today.”
Eckert’s extensive knowledge of textiles and temperature regulation has helped advance the bedding and home industries by permanently raising the bar for comfort standards. His mission in joining Outlast was to identify and cultivate new markets for the technology, which continues to be his passion today. For example, Outlast is drawing attention to women’s health issues with an awareness campaign on how Outlast products help mitigate symptoms of menopause. Roda adds, “Outlast looks forward to another 10 years with Guy and we greatly appreciate all that he has accomplished for the company.”
