Swedish white label operator Sting Networks has overhauled its existing network infrastructure with a fully redundant TELES next generation network solution as a turnkey replacement. The new network has been built around the successful open standards-based TELES C4 (MGC) softswitch to leverage and interwork with the existing gateway.
Providing an insight into the reasons behind this decision, Leif Bengtsson, CEO at Sting Networks, revealed: "We needed to enhance our platform stability and scalability to enable us to meet the challenges of a rapidly expanding market requiring high quality services from us. The TELES C4 softswitch provides us with the perfect carrier-grade solution to build a solid but flexible basis for growing our customer services and cut costs."
George Lunguran, TELES Regional Sales Director, sees the deal as another breakthrough for TELES in Scandinavia:
