Chicago, IL, AMB New Generation Data Empowerment, a leader in the development and marketing of data profiling and cleansing tools, through an agreement with the Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, AMB will make available its Information Governance, Profiling and Discovery technologies for instructional purposes.  Students and faculty in the college’s Information Quality Graduate Program will be able to execute the MDM on a Shoestring solution set as a real world complement to their classroom experiences.

Dr. John Talburt, Professor of Information Science and Graduate Coordinator for the program states that "AMB's generous contribution of software licenses and time to the program will give our students and faculty a broader experience with the increasingly sophisticated tools being developed to help organizations with information quality management."

About Dr. Talburt and the UALR Master’s of Science in Information Quality

Dr. John Talburt is Professor of Information Science and Acxiom Chair of Information Quality at the UALR where he serves as the Graduate Coordinator for the Master of Science in Information Quality, a one of a kind program. Professor Talburt is an inventor for several patents related to customer data integration, and the author for numerous articles on information quality and entity resolution. Dr. Talburt is the winner of the 2008 DAMA International Academic Award and has earned the designation of Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) from the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals at the mastery-level with specialties in data and information quality and information technology.
