Enabled via MySQL™ and purpose-built for an analytic workload with column-oriented technology at its core, InfiniDB Community Edition delivers a full-feature scale-up solution that enables data warehousing, business intelligence and read-intensive database deployments. In order to support the rapidly increasing demand for open source analytics database solutions, Calpont has established www.infinidb.org as the web destination for people to learn about and download its analytic database software. The Calpont offering is also bolstered with the strength of a newly signed multi-year MySQL OEM licensing agreement with Sun Microsystems.
