The Washington State DUI Judicial Forums invited the partners of Fox Bowman Duarte to discuss new legal issues involving the crime of DUI. Forum members include Washington State District Court and Municipal Court judges.
The attorneys will primarily discuss the field sobriety tests and judicial limitations that should be placed upon this evidence, and the need for strict compliance with national standards relating to field sobriety testing. Field sobriety tests in Washington state are voluntary, but a majority of those stopped for DUI participate. Field sobriety evidence can be damaging for a DUI defendant unless they are represented by an experienced DUI defense attorney.
