Prior to joining JBSA, Mr. Lebria served as Senior Associate of Architectural Design Group in Raleigh for 24 years. During his career, he was responsible for design development, contract documents, project management, and construction administration for club, resort, and multi-residential projects worldwide—ranging from one million to 200 million dollars.
JBSA offers design services on a wide array of projects that include multi-family housing, schools and universities, recreational facilities, office buildings, and food service. The company was recently honored by the National Association of Contractors and Builders with a Special Recognition Certificate, which recognized companies that have played a vital role in the Raleigh Durham area’s economic development, contributed to the region’s growth and construction, and have developed awareness in “green” building. Lebria said that it was JBSA’s commitment to designing buildings that are both energy efficient and environmentally sensitive that attracted him to the company.
“I was interested in getting involved with more projects that focus on energy efficiency and passive solar design, and joining JBSA will give me that opportunity,”
Company founder, Jill B. Smith, AIA, says that Mr. Lebria’s many years of hands-on experience in design and construction administration will enhance the level of service for the firm, and his industry expertise will play a significant role in the firm’s strategy to broaden their current marketing reach.

Mr. Lebria graduated with an Architectural Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Tampa Technical Institute. He is very active in his community and serves as a youth group leader on several Appalachia Service Projects in the Appalachian Mountains. He also regularly volunteers for Warmth for Wake, an organization that provides heating assistance to low-income families in Wake County.
