FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 26, 2009 -
It is well documented that for thousands of years Montmorillonite clay has been used as a healing product for both internal and external conditions.  Montmorillonite clay has superb absorption properties and when applied to the skin acts as a type of sponge to soak up any toxic compounds in the skin.  More scientifically speaking Montmorillonite clay holds a negative charge in it’s’ structure, whereby most toxins in the body hold a positive charge.  As we know from basic physics, opposites attract, therefore the Montmorillonite clay draws out any impurities in the body and also absorbs excess water from the skin.
Sometimes we have to put our trust in Mother Earth rather than big pharmaceutical companies that are happy to fill us full of their wonder drugs that quite often have severe side effects unlike our products which are all natural.
Montmorillonite clay is one of several clays that are used around the world for healing purposes.  It may surprise you that the basic clay structure originates from volcanic ash.  As a volcanic eruption takes place ash is distributed throughout a large area, sometime circumnavigating the earth.  Montmorillonite clay was named so, because it was first discovered near the town of Montmorillon, France. Commonly known as French Green!  Due to the molecular structure of this type of clay they are sometimes called swelling clay which offer higher de-toxing properties compared to non-swelling clays.
How it works
Bentonite clay molecules carry a negative electrical charge while toxins, bacteria, viruses, parasites and other impurities carry a positive charge. When the clay is taken into the human body, the positively charged toxins are attracted to the negatively charged surfaces of the clay molecule. The clay molecule acts like a magnet, attracting and holding the toxins and impurities to its surface, and removing them when the clay is removed or expelled.

Applications
Face masks
Partial body wrap
Full body wrap
Foot care for dry heels
Acne treatment
Other topical applications where Bentonite will have a significant effect are:
Wrinkles, Enlarged Pores, and Fine Lines
Cellulite, Scars and Stretch marks,
Under-eye puffiness
Crow's feet, Dull Dry Skin
Blemishes, Uneven Skin Tone
Great for teenagers!

Topical applications are helpful for acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, wound healing, and help draw poison from ant, bee, wasp, and similar bug stings and bites. This helps reduce inflammation, irritation, itching, and swelling and is excellent applied to hot spots.
