Oct. 26, 2009 - PRLog -- Spa‘s and Salons in Toronto and in Chicago and day spas in Manhattan all have clients that ask the same question.  What is proper spa etiquette? We are paraphrasing of course.  However, spa etiquette is important and will make your experience and everybody else around you much more peaceful and enjoyable.  
Our Manhattan salons explain that having good spa manners is like having good table manners.  If you sit at the table with a person with no manners your dinner will be less enjoys full and your experience probably negative.
Our Chicago day spas add that you should always look or inquire into the spas recommendations or rules of enjoyment.  The last thing you want to worry about is whether you should be naked or dressed or how much to tip or anything else.  All you should be doing is focusing on nothing as you receive your massage or treatment.

The most common question is should I undress during my session.  The answer is “yes” explains our Manhattan hair salon and Oakville day spas.  But only if you feel commutable adds our Mississauga day spas (which by the way offer the offer excellent spa packages).  Many spas
offer paper panties to wear during body treatments (like scrubs, wraps, or self-tanning)—they don't cover much.  Our Bronx salons and spas have informed us that many people wear their bathing suits during treatment.  
The truth is you’ll feel better if you’re nude. And most spas in Thornhill and almost all the day spas in Richmond Hill offer same sex therapists/masseuses.

Our Toronto day spas also explain that all employees are well trained not to ever have you completely exposed.  It is part of their training.  They are there to make you feel comfortable.  If you feel really bad about it go for a massage wear you wear loose clothing like a shiatsu.

Out Manhattan day spas also add that you could always go for a shoulder massage and start there.
