Hannah beat over 8,200 candidates to win a prize for the highest mark in the world for Paper P7. She then achieved the joint second highest mark overall in the world across all exams in the June 2009 sitting to win a silver medal.
Hannah studied with BPP at their Nottingham centre and undertook a taught course, followed by a weekday revision and question day for each paper.
Hannah said: “I am over the moon. I was shocked to receive the letter stating that I had achieved the highest mark in the world for Paper P7 – I then got a second letter to say that I had the joint second highest mark overall in the world! These prizes mean a lot to me as they validate all of the hard work I put into studying. BPP were invaluable in helping me to achieve the awards as they taught me what the examiners were looking for and helped me to be more efficient in my revision. I can’t praise the tutors highly enough. My firm, Clear & Lane, is also very impressed with my awards and have been very supportive throughout my studies.”
Barry Hall, Head of BPP Nottingham, added: “BPP courses are designed with one objective in mind – to help students pass their exams, first time. Our tutors are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their subject and how it is tested in the exam. In addition they give a lot of attention to each student, providing advice on exam techniques and dealing with any queries. I proudly congratulate Hannah and all of the BPP team involved.”
Wyn Mears, Director of ACCA UK, says: “Congratulations to Hannah. She has every right to be over the moon– and we are also delighted that her employers are so impressed with her drive, determination and talent. Hannah is very deserving of ACCA’s silver medal.”
The ACCA prizewinner results for the June 2009 sitting have just been released and BPP’s UK students managed to win 8 out of 15 prizes, including highest mark overall in the world (Gary Elkes) and joint second highest mark in the world (Hannah Cox).
