Costa Maya, Mexico Beach

And with an airport under development in Tulum, the Costa Maya will soon be a lot more accessible to international tourists.
The Costa Maya is located south of both bustling Cancun and the Riviera Maya, along the sparkling Caribbean Sea. It is home to myriad wildlife and is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Inhabited in ancient times by Mayans one can now explore numerous Mayan ruins in the area. Costa Maya’s cruise ship dock, located in the town of Mahahual, currently attracts more than one million visitors a year. And just offshore from the Costa Maya is Banco Chinchorro, home to some of the best-preserved scuba diving sites in the world.
