(Press Release) – October 22, 2009 – UAE Red Crescent Received 10,000 donation from H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalid Al Qasimi of Gulf Holdings in order to Support "Pinked for a Cause" Campaign for Cancer Awareness Month.
The United Arab Emirates Red Crescent Society of Dubai will receive a cash contribution from H.E. Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi, owner of 25 year old company Gulf Holdings LLC. in Sharjah, to support Cancer Patients in the U.A.E.
H.E. Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi’s relentless efforts have made Gulf Holdings LLC, the home of many innovations in over 84 companies within its portfolio that are contributing to the growth of the U.A.E. “It is my greatest dream to be able to continue to contribute to my community positively and help those in need,” says Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi.
Red Crescent Society assists individuals with various types of cancer in receiving life saving care. Their mission is to help the needy all over the world and be able to put smiles on faces. Specifically in the area of breast cancer treatment, the Red Crescent Dubai Branch is currently paying for the treatment of six women who have terminal breast cancer. In extending this generous benefit to those who are suffering, the Red Crescent does not discriminate based on age, religion, nationality or any other such factors. The proceeds from this event will go to paying for such treatment.
Celebrating their 90th Anniversary in business, Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P, Attorneys at Law will be hosting the Event on October 26, 2009 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at ZUMA Restaurant in DIFC. This event is open to the public with a donation fee of AED 100.
