Friendliest Member Contest Stirs Up Interest

Bracesquestions.com, LLC announced the start of the BQ Community Friendliest Member Contest today.  This contest coincides with today’s launch of BQ Community, a section of the Bracesquestions.com website where users can join support groups, participate in forum discussions, and meet people interested in talking about braces.

“If you are an orthodontic patient, the BQ Community is a great way to connect with people who are sharing or have shared your experience,” says Dr. Stephen Yang, an orthodontist and Senior Editor at Bracesquestions.com.  “Since few people know about the BQ Community, we wanted to create a fun way for users to start using the site.”

To win a prize in the Friendliest Member Contest, a Member must be one of the top 9 members of the Bracesquestions BQ Community with the most friends.   After these top 9 Members have been determined, all of the BQ Community Members will get to vote on who they think the Friendliest Member.  The top three vote getters will win a prize.

“To win this contest, you cannot simply invite and add friends, and not participate in the Bracesquestions BQ Community,” states Jennifer Conway, a Bracesquestions Team Member.  “You have to be an active member of the BQ Community by getting to know people, forming groups, joining discussions, or starting a blog on the BQ Community and getting people to follow or comment on it.  By doing all of the above, you will be an active member of the BQ Community and members will get to know you…and hopefully like you and vote for you.”

The BQ Community Member to reach the finals AND get the most votes in the Friendliest Member Poll will win his or her choice of a $35 gift certificate to Amazon.com OR $25 Itunes gift card.  Second and third place winners will receive gift certificate or gift card prizes as well.

“I’m looking forward to this contest,” says Alyssa Fleming, a BQ Community Newbie.  “I know a lot of people with braces, and I have had braces myself so I can answer many common questions that people have when they get braces.”
