Createyourhealth.com & Whole Foods Alternative Health Fair Gets Record Turn Out

Oct. 25, 2009 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA – CreateYourHealth.com and Whole Foods presented the CYH-Alternative Health Fair on Saturday, October 17th.  Alternative health practitioners offered FREE mini-healing sessions to educate shoppers on the many different ways to create your health. Patrons left with the knowledge and security that they will be healthy and happy this holiday season.

Practitioners who participated were: Carol Assa – Feng Shui, Dr. Grace – Integrative Chiropractor, Jacquie Jordan – Raw Food, Molly Basler – Insideout Yoga, Ida Kendall – Transformational Breathing, Dr. Shiva Lalezar – Vitamin Therapy, Penny Layne – Emotional Freedom Technique, Andrew Leavenworth – Ayurvedic Medicine, Elma Mayer – Yuen Energetics, and Wencke Von Mulhenberg – Holistic Nutrition.

Penny Layne was “amazed that so much could be handled (some major lifetime issues) in [only 15 minutes]”.  Andrew Leavenworth said, ”each of the practitioners in attendance that day had the opportunity to offer community outreach with their skills and knowledge, helping people understand that there are many opportunities for people to learn to help and heal themselves.”  Participants were introduced to alternative health solutions that helped some of their deepest issues in a matter of moments.  They learned what was needed to create their own health and left the fair feeling “energized, excited and relaxed.”

Peter Bedard hosts the acclaimed web-series, “Create Your Health” at www.CreateYourHealth.com.  With over 35 educational and entertaining episodes under 5 minutes each, “Create Your Health” has become a draw for those seeking information on alternative health methods.

“Create Your Health” (CYH) is designed to inspire and give you choices regarding improving your life – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The show segments are designed to introduce you to a particular alternative health practice and demonstrate what a treatment within that practice is like. Combing Eastern & Western medicine practices, CYH as a way to empower you to take responsibility for your life.  The show’s unique aspect has its host, Bedard, actually under going each treatment it features.  From acupuncture to cold laser treatment, watch as Bedard under-goes each procedure.

Peter Bedard is an Alternative Health Expert focused on providing useful traditional and non-traditional medical information for free to the masses of people seeking healthy guidance.  His gentle hosting skills and approachable attitude allow him to be the perfect vehicle for delivering health tips with a friendly smile.  Along with hosting his series CYH, Peter is a certified hypnotherapist and has a MA in Consciousness Studies.   This knowledge of wellness combined with his theatrical acting experience paints Peter to be a fun and eclectic person.  Peter was drawn to Alternative Health after coming close to death a number of times.  The most traumatic for him was when he was on his motorbike and was forced off the road and slammed into a semi-truck. He shattered his knee, cracked several vertebrae, split his wrist open, and lost the nerves in his right hand.  Doctors did the best they could for Peter, but he still experienced severe pain. So, Peter was forced to seek out additional treatment.  Through his own drive and desire for alternative methods and knowledge, he overcame his skepticism, and was able to fully recover and desired to share this information with others.

Accompanying his successful web-series, Peter also hosts a Health and Wellness Mixer.  This is monthly mixer falls on the last Tuesday of every month on the East Side of Los Angeles, Silver Lake. Everyone is welcome-cutting edge Western medical doctors, alternative health practitioners, healers of all types and anyone simply interested in meeting a healer. It's a great place for someone to find a massage therapist, acupuncturist, or shaman.  Each month features a different theme.  Past themes include Ayurvedic Medicine, Holisitc Foods and Energy Healing.  The mixer rotates each month between Mi Alma and the Coffee Table in Silverlake, CA.
