FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PR Log (Press Release) –
Oct 25, 2009 – Singer/Songwriter Terri Brumit has just released her musical tribute “Still a Warrior” to America’s Heroes; the Wounded Warriors just in time for Veterans Day. Terri will travel to the nation’s capital in Washington, DC to visit The Walter Reed and Bethesda Medical Centers on November 6, 2009 to present personal copies to the Wounded Warriors undergoing treatment and rehabilitation there.
Terri Brumit is a native of Marietta, Georgia and the wife of a retired Special Operations soldier. She has devoted her musical gifts to writing and singing about America’s Heroes; the men and women of the Armed Forces. Terri is unique in that she writes, arranges, plays and sings her own songs. She does not take profits from her songs nor does she seek special recognition for herself. Terri will be the first to tell you that it is all about the people she sings about – the true heroes. Terri’s songs have been played at military memorial services, retirement ceremonies, graduations and change of commands. There has not been a modern day musical tribute to the Armed Forces since the “Ballad of the Green Berets” by Barry Sadler written in 1966. When asked what style of music does she write and sing; Terri answers with a simple statement; it is Hero Music. Her numerous songs include the following; “Warriors in the Night, Heroes Left Behind, They’re My Legacy, That Look in His Eye, Heading Home, Still a Warrior, Another Day, and Thank a Vet.” Terri is completing an entire album dedicated to the warriors and plans to be release it before Thanksgiving of this year. Her musical back-up and production comes from renowned artists Wendell Cox on guitar, Brian Stephens on drums, Eric Tunison of Groove Tunes Studios on strings and production, and Rodney Mills of Rodney Mills Mastering House.
