BIGSTAR.tv Goes Gaga for "No Pants"

Miami, FL -- BIGSTAR.tv has announced the grand prize winner of their most recent short film contest. “No Pants,” a parody of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance," submitted to the online competition by Erin McFadden won first place after competing against dozens of other films, and will be awarded the $1,000 grand prize.
BIGSTAR.tv's Parody Short Film Contest took place from June 11th until October 7th, 2009, when the contest closed and ten finalists were chosen. The parameters for the entries required films to make fun of a well-known, mainstream production, be from two to twenty-five minutes in length, and also obligated filmmakers to utilize some form of audio to accompany the film.
Ten competing entries, including the titles “Dylan Frank,” “Monkey Land,” “Napoleon C-4,” “A Love Not Standing,” “Time Traveler's Ex Wife,” “Peed in My Pants,” “Madonna Hung Up on Crack,” “There's Waldo,” and “Otakus” were rated by viewers, and judged by a BIGSTAR.tv panel of judges whose final judgment fell upon “No Pants.”
“This has been an extremely fun competition,” says Josh Perez, Lead Web Developer at BIGSTAR.tv. “The submissions were all creative and each had strengths in regards to film making, but ultimately the winning entry was the best fit for the genre at hand.”
