Briarcliffe College is holding two Career Fairs in December -- just in time to meet employment resolutions for the New Year.
Open to the general public with no admission fees, the Career Fairs will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Briarcliffe College Campus, 225 West Main Street in Patchogue, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Briarcliffe College Campus, 1055 Stewart Avenue in Bethpage, 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
According to Briarcliffe College Director of Career Services Stacy Dee Zager, the Career Fairs will have companies hiring within the fields of Accounting, Business, Information Technology, and Graphic Design, as well as some entrepreneurial opportunities.
“Briarcliffe College is committed to our students, alumni, and in these times of economic uncertainty, to all Long Islanders who are motivated to find jobs, further their careers, or re-enter the workforce,” said Zager. “Job seekers should dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes and portfolios.”
Companies with employment positions available who are interested in participating in the Briarcliffe College Career Fairs may contact Briarcliffe College Career Services Office at 516-918-3675 or 631-730-2074 to reserve a table. Although there are no fees attached, companies must RSVP to be included in the published directory and for the college to be prepared with requisite number of tables, chairs, and refreshments.
