Terry Clune receives the 2009 Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Taxback.com CEO Terry Clune was last night named the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. From a small office on Aston Quay in 1996 with 3 employees to over 600 staff in 24 offices around the world the story of taxback.com is truly one of Irish entrepreneurship at its best.
Clune now heads up a wholly Irish-owned company with clients in over 200 countries and in the last 13 years has built strategic partnerships with some of the biggest brands in the world including Visa Europe, Concur and 3GSM.
“I accept this award on behalf of the taxback.com team – who have all made a significant contribution to making the company what it is today,” Clune said after receiving the award from Irish President Mary McAleese.
“If you want to succeed in Ireland you have to look beyond Rosslare and I am very proud to say that we certainly have – we open our 25th office this month in Haiti.”
