Tokyo, Japan, Sakura Retirement Investments in conjunction with Smart Ventures announced a USD $10m investment to build a specialised Japanese Retirement Village on the island of Tablas Philippines.
In making the announcement, Project Director Mr Akihiro Kumagai advised "it is with great pride and pleasure that Sakura Retirement Investments will build 40 luxury retirement villas dedicated exclusively for the Japanese retiree on the island of Tablas, Philippines. The villas will be luxuriously appointed to elderly Japanese requirements with quality inclusions such as marble flooring. Each Villa will be allocated their own private nurse to assist and have seperate accomodation close"
Mr Akihiro Kumagai went on to advise that "the village complex will have a restaurant with specialist Japanese chefs, hydrotherapy pool and spa, gymnasium and private white sand beach, all in an enclosed security controlled community village."
In making the announcement Sakura Retirement Investments advised it would provide investment capital and has requested Smart Ventures to partner and development the project.

Project Director Mr Akihiro Kumagai for Sakura Retirement Investments advised that "'the project had already accepted offers from interested retirees" and believes it has already been full subscribed by its clients and that the village would be opened in July 2011.
