Tips for Quintessential Fall Style

Accessories of all shapes, sizes and colors create the look of the season

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct 23, 2009 -
Across the country , fall clothing trends are appearing in stores, and local fashionistas are gearing up to tackle the styles of the season. But, in order to complete their look for the fall, Tovonnia Collins, Advisor for lia sophia, says knowledgable women will be thinking about more than just great apparel.
"When it comes to fashion, accessories not only make a look – they can actually transform an outfit from ordinary to unique," said Collins. "And, this fall, women will have several options from which to choose when it comes to jewelry.  There are styles to compliment every wardrobe."
Collins notes that when it comes to picking the proper accessories, women should pay particular attention to three main focal points:  shape, detail and color.  With that in mind, Collins goes on to suggest the following tips for dressing to impress this fall season:

•   Go Natural – For the fashionista who doesn't want to look like she's overdone, earthy materials and desert hues can combine for a naturally chic look. Chunky stone pieces only add further accent appeal.
•   Let Color "Pop" – Hematite, black and white accent pieces are crisp and look great with nearly every outfit. Try pairing them against a color to make the ensemble "pop."
•   Make a Statement – Bold, unique or textured styles attract the eye and can quickly bring an outfit from day into night. Asymmetrical shapes and patterned pieces are especially expected to be en vogue this fall.
•   Embellish – Rich gold accents and deep jewel tones provide substance to an otherwise plain look. Pick one opulent piece and keep other jewelry to a minimum for a look that can go from the office to a night on the town.
•   Diversify – When it comes to mixing and matching pieces, variety in length and texture is key. Experiment with pairing different necklace lengths, reversible locks and multiple metals.

"This fall, women across the country should allow their jewelry to speak and make a statement about their own personal style," said Collins. "In fact, they actually might find that by using the right accessories to update their current wardrobe, they won't have to spend as much money on new fall clothes."
As a lia sophia Advisor, Collins offers a wide array of fashion jewelry through in-home demonstrations. Collins is currently highlighting lia sophia's Fall/Winter 2009 collection to women in Maryland and Delaware, and is also providing her clients with fashion expertise on which accessories work best for autumn.  Nationwide inquiries are accepted and encouraged.
"The change of the seasons is a wonderful time of year, and women should embrace it as an opportunity to revamp their look and image," added Collins. "Fortunately, when it comes to accessories, there is something for everyone to fall in love with this autumn. Go with your instinct and wear what speaks to you."
