Cirque Du Noir is back for a second year, with a Halloween gala celebrating Worcester’s arts.music.culture scene Sunday, October 25th. Cirque du Noir, a fundraiser for the Worcester County Food Bank, offers an exciting platform of local art talent with a live art fusion, silent auction and live music by Esthema of Boston. The artistic offering at Cirque du Noir will be a wide selection of art to fit all tastes. It’s all about the celebration of art and music, a sense of discovery and mystery, all coming together for a great cause-- giving back to our community. The artists are donating 100% of all proceeds of the auction to the Food Bank. Last year’s event proved that the call for something different was answered. From the minute you hear the music outside Bocado, the air was filled with curiosity and magic. Celebrate art and music while giving back, if you go out one night this year, you should be a part of this! Bocado was filled with more than the usual suspects last year and we are so excited to host again this year.
"Inspiration came from working and living in an environment filled with amazing artistic talent. Halloween is the perfect day to bring art and creative energy together. Among artists there is potential for some fierce competition when it comes to costumes! Also, real reminders of Thanksgiving are everywhere in our autumnal surroundings. Why not bring this spirit into the hearts and minds of people in our city---Worcester, that's brimming with cultural enthusiasts needing a platform for this kind of event? With this in mind, our wheels started rolling, and have never stopped. The Worcester County Food Bank was an obvious choice. Bocado is the perfect place, and the enthusiasm of the management and staff has been incredible. Bocado will be donating all the food for the event. Amazing sponsors have donated prizes. USTA NE donated two tickets to the recent US Open has offered to do it again!
