Execflyer is pleased to announce serving its 100th air charter client since the company was conceived in 2008. Utilising a state of the art technology platform which takes away the tedious groundwork and duplication involved in telephone based broking, the Execflyer business has steadily grown throughout the global economic downturn. Back in 2008, the Execflyer team were introduced to a highly skilled team of software developers, MDB Consulting. They were able to work from a limited brief and build the functionality required to ensure that the business of identifying and booking private jet charter and helicopter charter was a less time consuming task than calling around the market to get somewhat limited market visibility.
With just a few clicks of a mouse, clients anywhere in the world can get a full run down of the most cost effective aircraft or helicopter options to undertake any given trip. Whilst the initial contact is purely through a technology interface, once clients have identified the aircraft charter solution they require, then the Execflyer team work hard to deliver a top quality, personal service to all clients from initial contact through to disembarkation at the destination airport or landing site.
“Too many companies these days utilise technology as an interface behind which they hide and keep human interaction to a minimum. This is not the aim of www.execflyer.com. In this application we are using technology to reduce duplication in the market and to quickly give our client a wider view of the Private Jet charter market as well as the helicopter charter market,” stated Steven Moth, Director of Execflyer.
He went on to add that he had been “surprised by demand for aircraft charter services given the economic downturn. Almost all of the clients we have flown to date have been under time constraints in order to fulfil schedules at multiple locations. These clients have come from a range of business sectors including film, sport, music, corporate firms as well as private individuals.”
On the whole the Execflyer business has seen most of its trips originate from the UK, though there are an increasing number of requests from New York, Moscow, United Arab Emirates and India. Popular destinations have been Nice, Cannes, Milan, New York and Paris. Throughout November, December and January however the focus tends to be on trips to Samedan for European Ski resorts, and St Maarten to accommodate the yacht charter business.
With confidence in global markets returning it is safe to assume that the need for jet charter and helicopter charter services is set to recover over the next 12 months as more and more travellers choose to avoid airport chaos.
