The SCDM Annual Conference, the largest educational event in the clinical data management industry, was held Oct. 4-6 in Seattle and featured 60 presentations. More than 640 clinical data management professionals attended – a slight overall increase over last year.
“My co-chair, Brenda Hoeper, and I are extremely pleased that the breadth and depth of the program created for the conference attracted attendees from around the world,” said Paul Clarkson, CCDM, conference co-chair. “Further, we believe that the high attendance achieved, in this time of economic uncertainty, speaks to the value CDM professionals worldwide find in attending the SCDM Annual Conference.”
The highest numbers of international attendees came from Canada, India, Mexico, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
International members are a growing segment of SCDM's overall membership and currently represent approximately 17 percent.
