I would have to say this is by far the best flat iron ever invented. I have owned maybe 5 flat irons and once you try ghd you will never go back. I had my first ghd for 7 months and I left it in a hotel, I just about died. Having paid 200 dollars for it, I wondered if there was a cheaper alternative so I bought the Fhi. I used the Fhi twice before breaking down and buying another GHDs. So I would say ghd is worth the money, it perfectly straightens my thick curly hair leaving it silky smooth and it lasts. Since owning a ghd I stopped getting relaxers and my hair always looks like I just walked out of a salon. Additionaly, the ghd holds a 2 year warranty if you purchase it directly from their site. Ghd also has excellent customer service.
