The November 21st Floré Holiday Open House will include the return of Flore’s wildly-popular “Cooking with Lavender” food tasting and wine pairing. Flore’s design staff will also be available to help with holiday gift ideas. A year-round advocate of charities, community involvement and social responsibility, Ms. Friedlander is also asking the community’s help this holiday season as Flore launches their second annual clothes drive to benefit The Needy Fund in Southbury. The Needy Fund provides a Holiday Program for 65 needy families or 120 children in the local area.
The Needy Fund is an ongoing program that provides donated funds to pay for immediate needs for area residents throughout each year. Ms. Friedlander explained, “This holiday season, we are sponsoring a local family who is in need of new clothes. We will be accepting donations through December 7, 2009.
